Title: Epson pro 7900 only allow Print res: Max-360 PPI Post by: oakville on October 13, 2017, 12:50:36 AM First thank you for this great and unique software.
I have 3 printers connected: Epson 1400, Canon MG7520 and Epson pro 7900. All with latest Driver for Windows 10 64-Bit. Try to print, fond the Epson Pro 7900 only allow Print res: MAX-360 PPI. :'( Sure I can Overdrive to 720 PPI. But Epson 7900 has even higher resolution than my old Epson 1400 and Canon MG7520. Which both of them showing higher Print res: 738 PPI and 600 PPI. What is wrong with my Epson Pro 7900? Did I do anything wrong or Qimage having trouble pickup the Epson Pro 7900? ??? Please help! Title: Re: Epson pro 7900 only allow Print res: Max-360 PPI Post by: Jules on October 24, 2017, 11:19:08 AM I have just read this thread with interest and it made me look at my printer settings. (I use an Epson 7890 printer). I notice that I have this set to Quality No4 on the slider which is Superfine 720x1440. Would I get any advantage, ie a better print if I set it to to No 5, Max Quality - Superphoto 2880 x 1440 ? Or should I just leave it as it is (which produces beautiful prints).

I would try it nd see if the slower printing or longer wait gives you any better quality.Jules Fred Title: Re: Epson pro 7900 only allow Print res: Max-360 PPI Post by: oakville on October 24, 2017, 01:32:28 PM :)
Thanks for all the reply. I changed mine to Finest detail which gave me the 720 ppi. It's hard to notice difference between the best quality (5) and (4). Thanks for all your help! Have a great day!
