Title: error message: image not supported Post by: pietgispen on November 21, 2020, 01:04:37 PM Every now and then when exporting an image from Photoshop CS5 to Qimage v2021.100 for print, I get the error message: "...images are not supported. Use the Image/Mode menu...etc". All of my images are produced exactly the same way: processed in Capture One with colour profile Adobe RGB, opened and edited in Photoshop and then saved. Nine our of 10 everything works perfectly with Qimage Ultimate, except these strange cases where I get this message. The file is in RGB etc, just like all other images. There seems to be no way to circumvent the issue, other than saving a copy and open it separately and directly in Qimage and then print. What is wrong and what can I do?
Thank you fro your help and advice. If it's PSD, those can be problematic because Adobe doesn't support them to third parties. If you have a sample of one that doesn't work that you could upload and post a link to download, I can take a look.

The first time it discovers an unreadable file, it gives a reason (number from a list) that shows what it found. Could be something like "reports zero pixels for width/height", "tiff with JPEG compression", or some other reason but it should specify at least a general hint of the cause.
