Title: Error message
Post by: Lurcherjohn on May 17, 2011, 10:14:09 PM
I'm just changing to Windows 7 and want to use my QU settings that are on a USB disc drive. I've used it with no problems but now I get this error message:

And I can get no further. If I continue or skip it goes back to the previous screen and I can't exit Qimage. I've got Admin status of course but how does one "provide administrator permission"?
   Any ideas folks?

I Googled it

How to Grant Permissions in Windows 7
1. Locate the file or folder in which you want to take ownership in Windows Explorer.
2. Right click on file or folder and select "Properties" from the Menu
3. Click on the Security tab, then click the Edit button. Click OK to confirm UAC elevation request if needed.
4. Select user/group from permission windows or click add to add other user or group.
5. Now under the Permission section check the rights which you want i.e check "Full Control" under the "Allow" column to assign full access rights control permissions to Administrators group.
6. Click Ok for changes to take effect and click ok final ok to exit from Properties window.
