Sorry for the double post but couldn't attach file to earlier message

I just noticed this message when I opened a folder. I am not sure if I had tried the folder with an earlier version.

It appears when I move the mouse pointer over any of the top six thumbnails and I have to move to cursor away and close the requestor. Those 6 photos do not have a time or date set so it is right but I can't access the file from QIU to print.

Tatou,
Good morning,
What Qimage seems to be saying to you is, Hey the top six jpgs do not have the exif information at all, or the information has been reformatted, or skewed in some way.
Some cameras can do this. Some software that was used prior to the jpg being seen by Qimage, that skewed the data, can do this.

The easiest way to solve this dilemma, or at least get the answer, would be to email the image to me at wathree.ssz@verizon.net
and to mchaney@ddisoftware.com.
No need to send all of them, unless you wish to. One of the ones that doesn't perform should suffice.

... and what did you mean when you said, Can't print because of no date and time?

Fred

Yes, most importantly: please send a copy of one of those aberrant file to mchaney@ddisoftware.com.   Grin

I can see that the EXIF data has been corrupted but I don't see how that would stop you from printing.  I'd need the file to see what is happening.

Thanks,
Mike

Fred

I couldn't print as I couldn't select the file. When I hovered over I got the requester.

All fixed now though
