Title: Filer switch after photo editing with Photoshop
Post by: Ernst Dinkla on October 27, 2011, 08:27:57 AM
Last week I did have strange map switching when I used Photoshop CS4 (64, Vista) as the editor by choice to correct an image in the Qimage queue. After saving the image in Photoshop and returning to Qimage Ultimate, clicking the OK button the filing system switched to Windows maps, I guess along the path Qimage uses for ICC printer profile choices.

Edit: To be more specific and after some new trials: the filing system then shows the path Windows\system32\spool\drivers\color where you normally would look for profiles. No thumbnailes but the template.  Qimage v2012.100.  This happens even when no changes are done to the image, nothing saved from Photoshop, the image not loaded to the queue, as soon as OK is clicked I have to find my work folder again and go through the thumbnails. I guess it copies the path used by Qimage for profile choices.

Hi Ernst,
I checked this out yesterday but cannot repeat your problem.
The folder tree in QU was remained as it was before I sent an image to the editor.
I am using W7-64 and a different editor,I don't know if that is significant or not.

Terry,

Today I installed QU v2012-205, the latest, and it does not happen anymore. I'm not in the mood to check whether older versions still do it or whether there was a special issue with my installation. It works now.

Thank you for trying it out.
