I like the new program and expect to put in my order soon. In the meantime a couple of points:
My trial version only allows three prints, when I put the fourth in the queue it tells me only four allowed and won’t go to the print menu.
I’ve had an error message a few times, about not being closed down properly and asking to reset or not. I’ve ignored these and no problems arise but the message box stays underneath.
The Print Properties box seems awkward. If there a number of folders visible in the folder browser, it opens too low down to see Custom settings and I couldn’t find the scissors for some time. It would be nice if it could be wider to keep the info visible in two columns. I suppose I could remove some paper sizes but I like the blue writing with alternative sizes.
I’ve also got used to double clicking to add to the queue rather than hitting the little x, old dog new tricks etc
There is no radio button to tick to allow autostart when a card is inserted, I don’t want to uninstall my Flashpipe to check this out but I’ve found this useful and would prefer to have it all in the new program.
I like the “Flashpipe” button and would like some more, eg Slide show and others from the menu cheater, there’s plenty of space up there.
It would be good if the name of the filter applied could be seen when the mouse pointer is held over the thumbnails or added to the red info.
All of these are minor points considering I am very pleased with the prints I’ve done, the object of the exercise.

Well done Mike with .102 I can find the scissors now and the size tools. I’ve deleted some of the sizes so can now see down to Custom , I’d prefer Custom, Fit to Page and Original Size to be at the top so little used sizes could be scrolled for.

The facility is already there (always has) to click the end of the slider bar and the slider will move in small increments. I use that more now the sliders are shorter.
I would not agree with that. When I archive images to DVD or copy another hard drive, I know I've got everything together to re-create my original adjustments.
Although there is a little testing needed to get the values set correctly, once set they should not require constant adjustment. That's the concept and I find it works. Remember you can save the values for a particular camera and they will automatically be used appropriately.

You'll miss out on the current advantages, especially as you use Qimage for raw. The big one is the speed of operation once the thumbs and cache have been created.
Screen view, Editor operation, Slide shows and Print processing all work much faster. It makes these operations more of a pleasure to use.
