Title: first time user needs help for printing after a canvas print attempt Post by: j enea on September 14, 2011, 09:56:46 PM after many successful regular prints i decided to try my first canvas print. I got a sample pack that had an 11x15 sheet that would fold down or mount down to 8.5x11. when i had all the preferences filled in I had a dark crop all the way around the sample image which I took to be the folded over section of the print. Needless to say the print was a wreck as I forgot to resize the image.
Anyway now I can't seem to get rid of the canvas wrap crop, print area or whatever the dark area is that goes all the way around the image. It now seems to crop all my print attempts and the dark rimmed area seems to be an area that looks like it is stretched. as such it is blurry and stretches the area it looks like it wants to print. I even tried to uninstall the app and reinstall it but it starts from exactly where i left off. does that make any sense? I hope so as I can't think of any other way to describe it. Thanks for any input printer is an epson 4900 Title: Re: first time user needs help for printing after a canvas print attempt Post by: Terry-M on September 14, 2011, 10:34:36 PM Quote Anyway now I can't seem to get rid of the canvas wrap crop, print area or whatever the dark area is that goes all the way around the image. Canvas wrap borders can be removed in the Print Properties pop up, like any other border, by clicking the small rectangle by the size window and selecting "clear both borders".While you are there, click FI to get the appropriate Help Page and read that about canvas wrap borders. No use for checking colours or details like sharpening, though.
