Does QU have a way of looking at a list of JPGs and determining (by batch) which ones are out of focus? If not, does anyone know of such a utility, please? Many thanks

Do you mean Qimage should decide for you what is out of focus, or do you mean you want a fast way of looking through a folder of images?

Above the right most thumbnail, click on A+ to select all, then P+ which will open a window to let you view your images quickly and add to or not add to the queue, thereby separating ones you want to keep from the others.
Then you can Save the ones in the queue as a JOB

Hello Fred

Yes, I mean the decision being made by QU. I don't have time to look at every photo I'm processing but as quite a number of them are well out of focus I was hoping for some automatic help!

It would have to be some sort of contrast assessment, rather like contrast based focussing on some cameras. Very tricky I would think.
How about getting back to the root of the problem: why so many out of focus shots, solve that one first.  Wink

Because the teachers keep getting pregnant and leaving. The new teachers snap away and it takes them time to get better (despite training!)

Why is that happening?   They need a better F-STOP.
