good day!
Long time user, current version V2019.122. currently getting two errors (after upgrade) and when trying to print.
1) Division by Zero
2) Access violation at address 77725702 in module 'ntdll.dll' Read of address 0034002C.

Often causes qimage to hang / hourglass and close

Additional Issue:  In the printer dialog box the mode continues to change back to Epson SRGB when I've selected Off (no color adjustment).

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Those error addresses are associated with the driver itself crashing.  What printer are you using and what operating system?

Hi Mike:  thanks in advance for any help

Widows 10 V1903 (64bit)   on a HP envoy i7 with 64gb ram and graphics card (below) - All systems running and testing fine.

Printers:  Epson 9900 and Epson P800 (USB connects).  Another office epson attached via network / gcloud Epson ET-2750

also have 3 epson scanners with drivers 640FF, 10000xl and V850

We had printer issues 45 days ago during a windows upgrade and we had to eventually reinstall windows with a fresh start (recovery).  The system is stable now with exception to the qimage errors.
Graphic card GeForce GT 640 running V430.86 (5/27/19)

More info -- We get the two errors running Qimage in Normal and safe mode.

Thanks
Todd

With the system changes that were made, it is likely that some of the saved settings are no longer compatible with the most recent driver(s).  To fix this, select the printer in question (for example, the P800) and then click the "Reset preferences to printer defaults" button to the right of the Properties button.  Select "Printer" to reset all preferences for the P800.  Then set up your driver settings manually using the Properties button: do not load saved setups or jobs as the printer settings in those could be incompatible.

Hopefully the above will clear up any conflicts between the Qimage-remembered settings and your printer driver(s).  These conflicts can occasionally occur when upgrading the OS or drivers because the manufacturers sometimes make changes to their drivers and do not update the internal driver version number (the version number reported to Windows).

Mike

Thanks Mike.

When selecting the printer what menu in Qimage are you suggesting.  I've looked at the print set up box and do not find what you are describing.  Can you provide a little more direction?
Thanks

Select the printer on the right of the main window on the Printers and Settings tab: drop down "Printer" and select the one you want.  Then the "Reset preferences to printer defaults" button is the curved arrow button to the right of the properties button on that same tab.
