Hello.

I'm currently working on a project involving about 25 images on a page.

In page edit mode, when I change a location coordinate (eg top Y) of one image the screen goes through very prolonged updates when each digit of the new coordinate is typed. Deleting each digit of the old coordinate causes an update and then when each digit of the new coordinate is typed, the same. The image moves around the page with each premature update.

This causes a very prolonged and tedious operation.

The only way  I have discovered to reduce the delays is to copy the new coordinate (from text file) and then select the old coordinate and paste the new value.

The solution seems to be for the updates to be delayed for say, two seconds, allowing the complete value to be typed or until "enter" is pressed.

Maybe my approach is incorrect?

A solution would be most welcome.

Peter

Peter,
See that the setting in the Page Editor is set to "Thumbs/small images..."

That makes the changes instantaneous.

See snap.

The only other possibility would be your image files are on a networked drive..?
I don't know.
The Thumb setting is just that, QU refreshes that image using thumbnail resolution so it will be fast.
