Title: Here's an amazing review of Qimage Ultimate by a well known Photographer
Post by: Fred A on November 12, 2010, 12:14:11 PM
I was poking around....

http://ronmartblog.com

There's a Link at the bottom which might tip your scale to buy yourself a a great Xmas present, or buy someone else a Xmas present.
It saves 10 bucks!

My problem is that I already converted everyone I know, either by demonstration of Ultimate or coercion or threats. :-)

Thanks, Fred.  My son is getting more serious about photography, so he might be able to make use of the discount.

A good article and I was pleased to see it mentioned the raw capabilities of the program too.
We need a few more of those to spread the QU word.

Agreed.  Emailing this review to a few of the heathens unconverted might get Mike a few more sales.

To my mind, here's the money quote, emphasis added:

Quote
I’ve gotta say this app took me by surprise because I judged a book by its cover and I’m used to a little more fit and finish than it seems Qimage offers – at first glance. The truth is that this app has tons of fit and finish and is really quite good. It almost seems that every feature request that someone has made in its forums has become a feature in the product. It literally has become like an airplane cockpit where you can sit and find new features all day long, but at the same time they’ve managed to pull of the miracle of making the base functionality so easy that you don’t even need to look at a manual – just click around and you’ll figure it out in about 10 minutes or less.

Speaking of QU...I note that each of us on this page is identified as "Studio User."  When do we get upgraded to "Ultimate User"?

Gotta be a simple job for the guy who programmed Qimage, right?

Not so simple when he has to say "Ultimate User", in metric too.  ;D

Yeah, but since he first has to say it in hex, metric should be easy.

Oh, now I get it!
He speaks in Hexadecimal!
So the other day, when he asked me if I had eaten supper yet, I said yes, I *ate* already, he said, "I *16'nd* too,
I just had a byte to eat", that was speaking in HEX.

Fred
  :D :'( :-[ :P

Using Avira, Malwarebytes, and other prophylactic measures makes it easy to practice safe online hex.
