Title: Hints for FAST image editing?
Post by: studio2107 on October 11, 2020, 09:39:12 PM
I print some for other photographers and I have one or two in particular that when I receive their images they are too dark especially for the matte paper they prefer. Yes, I have offered to send her my profiles for soft proofing but she is not there yet.
I am soliciting ways to speed me going through a group of files and quickly editing them for exposure prior to printing. I do know the basics of editing in Qimage, & most of my personal images are already edited in other software before sending to Qimage I would love to go through them fast like I could in Lightroom Library doing very basic adjustments and moving on to the next image. It would be super duper if I could do those adjustments in soft proofing mode, but I guess that falls more under wish list. I did try the auto exposure print feature on this last batch and it was some help but many were still too dark, so I fear I will really need to adjust most images manually.
Any of you print for others and have advise on speeding edits?
Thanks Jason

Try this for at least a starting point if all of the images are similarly under exposed.

Select all images and add all to queue.  Then adjust the lighting on one, and when you save, tick the box that says apply the filter to all images in the queue.

Thanks, that may be the best option on the next batch.
