Title: How do I copy a filter to the next frame?
Post by: tonygamble on September 04, 2011, 03:05:46 PM
I have a sequence of shots with about four in each different environment.

Once I have got a shot to my satisfaction how do I move on to the next three and copy the filter I have created?

Simply click NEXT in the editor and the Save dialogue box appears. Put a dot in apply to all.

Ah I see, Fred,

What one is doing is to put each little sequence of similar shots into the queue. Clearly one needs to remove the ones you have 'perfected' to avoid them being altered again by use of that dot.

I need to do a bit more reading on work flow to build up my speed.

I find it easier to save the filter. ie after you've altered the photo don't click done but go to File then save Current Parameters to File, choose a useful name eg level 3 fill, then you can apply that filter to whichever photos you choose. Select the thumbs, right click to Predefined filter (or Shift A) and select the filter you've made. Remove filter with shift D etc.
