I will be traveling for 3 months. I have set up the unclog program to run with roll paper and it seems to be working. How often do I need to run it?

You probably don't need to run it any more than once a week but if you don't mind it running 30 times while you are gone, you could run it every 3 days.

I was testing this to make sure it works while I am gone, and I keep seeing a paper mismatch on my printer screen. I checked the paper source both in Qimage and the driver and they are both set for roll paper. Why would I be getting this warning? I am assuming that I can just leave the roll paper in there without cutting after each printing and so on. Is this true or is is that what is causing the warning? I also turned off the wireless so there should be no windows updates and rebooting. The computer and printer are on a UPS so hopefully they will ride out any power outages? Any other tips or input so that I can leave with confidence and not come back to a clogged printer?

Is it a paper size mismatch or a media type mismatch?  I know some printers give a media error but most give those errors under one of two conditions:

(1) Printer detects that the media type doesn't match (such as detecting matte surface when you selected glossy paper).
(2) Printer detects that the width of the paper (or roll) doesn't match what is being sent by the driver.

Not sure if the P900 is sophisticated enough to detect the paper type so I'd check to make sure the roll width is correct first.

I went back in and double checked and I think I had the wrong setting in the properties for the unclog program. There are multiple places to check for driver properties...Qimage driver properties.....windows printer driver properties.....unclog printer driver properties (was set for rear feeder)...I think I have all the property settings correct now
