Title: how to edit {Q-P} Print to file prefix
Post by: Photog77 on May 15, 2021, 04:43:30 PM
I've had various versions of Qimage over the last 15 years, and in some of the older versions when I print to file, it added a {Q-P} prefix or a Q-P prefix, and would ask if you wanted to delete those files before printing new files into the same folder as those files.

The current version still asks if you want to delete the files with the prefix before you print new files into that folder, but it isn't adding the prefix so files are starting to build up.  How do I edit the prefix? I want Qimage to ask me if I want to delete files with the prefix every time I print new files to the same folder.

The {Q-P} prefix was removed several years ago.  In newer versions, the auto-naming option creates its own subfolder {Q}prints for printed files.  That way there is a separate subfolder for all prints and the files can retain their original names (when possible).  This also allows you to go to the {Q}prints folder and delete any old print-to-file images you like.
