Hallo Mike,

I'm looking for a form or forum where I can place a feature request. Is something like that available?

Wolfgang
What feature would you like to request?
Most features that new users ask for are already included, but Mike has an excellent record of adding new requests.

First I have to apologize for the long delay,

the feature I'm looking for was some international change. When printing with QU, the print queue shows Qimage - MM-DD-YYYY HH:MM:SSam

First of all, I would reuest that the Date and Time format is displayed in a style that is set in controlpanel regionl settings, so QU hast to query the regional setting
second I would prefere to have the file name included instead of "Qimage" only

Hi Wolfgang,
I am very curious as to where you are seeing the above.
In the Print queue, I get the path, filename and so on...
If you wish to have settings customized to your own reqirements, I believe that is already in Qimage.

See attached screen snaps.

I just set that for the purpose of demonstration to read: FRED, Month, Day, Year, Hour, Minute, and second, and there are a bunch more options to add or to switch around.

You will find them in attachment screen of 163 below. These are in Flash Card Copy Move / Settings.

Hope this is close to what you want.

Hi Wolfgang,
Like Fred, I'm puzzled as to what you are saying.

What shows in the Queue tab is the file path and file name. This depends on your naming of folders and image files - or is some other software doing that for you?

Where is "Qimage" coming from? QU is only reading what is in the file path so how is your folder structure set up and how do you name image files?
See my sreen shot below:
The folder tree from QU and the Queue with 2 images from the selected folder.

Although not related to what you seem to be saying, it is possible to change the way the Exif date is shown, see 3rd screen shot from Edit-Preferences.

Hi Wolfgang,
Like Fred, I'm puzzled as to what you are saying.

it looks to me that I did not explain clear enough what I mean. So I will attach a screenshot from the printer queue

if you check the date it was show as 05-27-2013, my control panel was set to show the date as yyyy-mm-dd, you can see this in the right side where windows includes the spooling time. The "job queue name" from the left war created by Qimage

Wolfgang,
Thank you for clarifying for us.
What you are showing is the Print Spooler.
The left side date has no meaning other than a file name to use in the spooler.
It disappears in a few moments anyway when the data goes to the printer.
The date on the right side, YYYY-MM-dd is what Qimage uses to save the JOBS in the the various printer jobs saved.

The order of waiting in the spool queue is TIME SUBMITTED, or which gets in there first, not by date that might be in the name.

Nothing to worry about here.

Not really, it has a important usage: when printing to Network Printers, this Information is passed to the print Server and is used to identify the print Job. So e.g. on a HP Designjet Z2100 this is reported for ink and paper usage. If this string would be customizable, you can embedd the file name and see the consumables history and calculate ink and paper consumption for a specific printed Image. And if the date/time Format is defered from System control Panel you can use localized Software to match with other date/time logfile entries

as written above, the date is passed to the Printer / print Server for accounting usage.

I hope you understand now my wishes to Change

Mike will likely read this tomorrow, not before. It is a holiday here in America, so now work!
All in his hands.
Thank you,

Hi everybody,

the new QU14-101 Shows now the date in the print Spooler as I asked for a Feature request in the Format defined by control Panel regional Settings.

Perfect, thank you Mike

I'll request a "Sticky Eyedropper Tool" that keeps the RGB values shown - and locked (unless edited) - until it's turned off.  PS allows one to see the prior and post change RGB (or CMYK) numbers with their sticky eyedropper tool.

As it is, moving the mouse off the selected eyedropper point shows the RGB numbers of the "Edge of the photo you exited the mouse from" and "Not the one you pointed it at."  Not too helpful, especially if you must move it to set the RGB values in the Color Sel. Array or box of numbers and then need to go back to the exact same eyedropper spot too to re-read them.

Maybe make it selectable so it can read within the larger enlargement pane that pops up when changing some Editor values too.

Big PITA to write the RGB numbers down, then change some numbers in the Editor Color Sel. array, and go back and maybe hit the exact same eyedropper spot to see if they changed the right way, or just to dial in some Pantone RGB numbers and see if they jive to where the eyedropper tool was initially set at.
