Hi Mike,
Hope you stay safe with that hurricane coming. I see that it's due to hit Sarasota on Wednesday.

It certainly looks a bit drastic, I hope you get through it OK. this side we go over the top with a full gale.
Ex Kirk is even missing us, good look to France.

Quick update: made it through Milton. We are safe. Home intact. There is some damage but I won't know the extent until the sun comes up. Power is out everywhere.
Hoping others were as lucky.
More later.

That's great! Watching the news I see a bunch of damage, but not as bad as it could have been. I think the first hurricane saved lives by getting people to take the second more seriously.

Thanks guys. Still without power but people within a few miles got it back yesterday so I have to hope we're close. No internet so working on cell data backup.

Glad to hear all's well.
I'm 60 miles SW of New Orleans.
Hurricane Francine in Sept, we were out for 2 days.
Hurricane Ida in 2021, we were out for 13 days.
