Using Qimage-U and Epson R1800 printer.
Any time I print a Picture file regardless of size, using Qimage-U -- I get a Paper Jam Message.
The file I am testing with is less than 1 MB.
This same file will print in Photoshop without any error.
The printer will print: Printer Test Page, Nozzle Check, Text files any length or size.
I have forgot the file to delete in order to delete Qimage Settings - in case this may help
Help will be appreciated.

Is it the .INI file.  If it is, I have already copied the file to different name then deleted the INI file
and got the same error as previously described

Start with the simplest reset first.  Hold the shift key while you click the "Properties" button on the Printers and Settings tab: that will reset all driver settings when the driver opens.  Then make all settings you need in the driver.  Don't try to load saved jobs/setups: just try to print after doing that.

Mike, thanks for your help.  That did not make any difference.  It continues to report Paper Jam. I did it twice just in case I messed up something.
My thinking is that since Qimage is the only program giving the Paper jam error (when there is no jam) that something has corrupted my setup for Qimage.
This morning I tested using Windows XP which I still have my XP setup (on a separate Hard Drive) and there was no difference in results.

Qimage doesn't give paper jam errors: the printer does.  So something in the driver settings is causing it such as a wrong or non-existent paper tray/source selection, invalid media size selection, etc.  The next step is to use Help, Reset all program settings in case something has gotten "stuck" in the remembered driver settings.

You could also download the latest driver for the R1800 from the Epson website.  That printer is now ancient and I'm suspicious that a recent Windows update might have uninstalled the driver you were using and Windows installed a generic driver instead.

Thanks Mike.  Yes, there is something related to the instructions that the R1800 is given that is causing the Paper Jam when there is no Jam.
Are there any other settings that i can reset (or delete) regarding Qimage that may have gotten corrupted due to unknown causes ?

No.  Technically if you hold the shift key when you click the Properties button to open the driver, it completely resets the driver to whatever your Windows default driver settings are: at that point, Qimage will be printing like any other software.  That's why I suggested reinstalling the driver from Epson.  It is possible that the 32 bit driver got corrupted and reinstalling the driver would fix that.  Some other programs (like Photoshop) will be using the 64 bit version of the driver which is technically a different driver so they may behave differently.
