Hi Mike,
As you know, I'm a long-time user of Qimage, but not familiar with the new Ultimate. I downloaded a trial copy and am very impressed Mike!

I no longer have my big 44" width Epson 9800 so now have to send my large prints out. I generally do all interpolation and prep work myself rather than trust the rip to do it all for me. My question is:

Can I output a Tiff or JPG with the DFS Sharpening applied, or is it necessary to have the "Filter" in the file? That is, can I send the file interpolated and sharpened with DFS to my print service bureau and if so how do I go about outputting the sharpened file?

Thanks,

Lin

Hi Lin,  Also a long time user of Qimage. (Fred)
Yes, of course, as always, you can create anything; web copies, email copies, full size jpgs, tifs, etc, and it always incorporates all of your edits.... (unless you click and tell it not to)

As a matter of fact, there's a new video due out on just this topic.  It should get posted to the video page very soon... maybe by end of day, or tomorrow.

Fred
PS Glad to have you back.

Hi Fred,

It's been a while!  Thanks! That's great to know. I'll be looking forward to seeing the video. I watched the one now available on DFS but I didn't remember it covering outputting the result so it will be great to see the new one.

Best regards,

Lin
