Title: Image file outside of display Post by: DdeGannes on May 24, 2020, 02:07:11 PM The image protrudes outside of the display window in Qimage Ultimate. See the screen capture.
I am unable to find an option to correct. Title: Re: Image file outside of display Post by: admin on May 24, 2020, 03:13:27 PM This is one of many XPS driver bugs. Do not use the XPS driver for your Canon printer and use the regular (non-XPS) driver instead. The XPS drivers simply don't work outside of Canon's own printing software.

So if I actually try to print, the portion outside the Qimage window will not print?Regards, Mike I have not been able to use the printer to print for at least six months, and was taking one final try before dumping the printer. A print on letter size paper printed great yesterday. I guess I will have to see if I still have the older driver installed on my wife’s Win 10 laptop. Part of the problem started when the Canon drivers on my iMac failed when I did the upgrade to macOS Mohave, when I checked with Canon they confirmed that the Driver for the printer would not be updated. Title: Re: Image file outside of display Post by: admin on May 24, 2020, 06:42:09 PM I don't know what it would do. The margins reported by the driver on that side are negative so it'll get what it asked for but I'm pretty sure it won't be good. My guess is it'll just chop off that side or there will be misaligned pieces. You should be able to just download the regular driver from the Canon site. In fact, most XPS drivers require the regular driver to be installed so I would think you already have the regular driver installed. Instead of picking "Canon Pro9000 II series XPS" just pick "Canon Pro9000 II series" instead since that one should work without the margin bugs present in the XPS driver.

It’s off to the dump no sense investing in further supplies. |
