Let me ask 1 more thing - if I restore full 'C:\Program Files (x86)\Qimage-U' folder saved from old Qimage version to new Qimage version installation - will the new version files be overwritten ? In other words - does Qimage keeps it's prorgam files and libraries in -'C:\Program Files (x86)\Qimage-U' folder ? Or no...
Ok This is the way it works, for us.
All the stuff in C:\Program Files (x86)\Qimage-U folder when placed in the new computer setup, Plus the other storage files you zipped put into its proper place will run the same Qimage as was running before.
We are not concerned with upgrades for the moment.
As soon as you have QU running, which starts and functions from that Qimage-U folder which includes dll files, chm files ini files, and icm files, now you install version 120. That will overwrite whatever it needs to refresh in \Qimage-U folder.
I am not sure what you are doing with your operating system, reinstalling Windows on a new drive, or what, so I add this.
In case Qimage needs a registry complement to run from the old files, it's OK. Just install 120 and then run it.
Hope that helps.
