Hello - I am trying to print a panoramic image [47" wide]. The image will need to be divided, 3 prints on my printer. I read somewhere that Qimage separated the image but i cant figure out how to do it. I couldnt find a video on this. Help would be appreciated.  Thanks, dw

Not much info above so I will guess and assume.
What Printer? Roll paper capability?  I assume not.
If you do have roll paper, Qimage will print the whole thing in Banner mode.
Assuming not, then Qimage will use POSTER mode. It will automatically enter poster mode once it sees a print order larger than the paper size.

I selected the largest sheet paper I have; A3+ or 13 x 19 in landscape mode on screen. Then I set Custom print size to Long side 47".
I add my pano, and Qimage sees the size issue and automatically makes 3 panels for the image to satisfy the 47" request.
See screen snap upper left. Very small text.... 3x1. Telling you it needs 3 sheets for the width only.

Thanks fred!  - I must not be setting something properly in Qimage.
BTW i am using the Cannon pro100, so yes, three sheets.

When I seem to set all the settings properly, on screen Qimage seems to shrink the pano down [visually], but before it tosses up a notice of the multiple sheets. Do I disregard what is on screen?

Great. I am  using a Pro 100 also.
Did you set the size in Custom size to LONG SIDE 47"?

Step 1 Select your printer setup (Semi gloss 19 x 13 Landscape)
Step 2 Open Custom size and set LONG SIDE to 47"
Step 3 Add pano image (Auto crop on)
Step 4 You should see as in my screen snap a full left to right pano image with little tag 3x1. That is telling you that we need 3 sheets of paper.
Step 5. Hover your pointer over the image. Size says, size, 47" x 12.68.
MINE SAYS that.   Yours will say 47" x the vertical pixel count. ratio.
Maybe you think that shrunk the print, but it is keeping the aspect ratio of the image.
If you need to fill the vertical better then you will need to shoot a set of vertical shots above the main shot.
In other words, Take your first shot. Now take a shot above the first. Now move to Shot two position. Take the shot and a second vertical.
I should get Terry on here. He takes panos all the time.

last night, when i set the pro100 preference, then to custom, It would not let me size anything past 26" How do i get past that?

Great. I am  using a Pro 100 also.

OOPS! I see you. You went into the driver under USER DEFINED size. Max is 26.0 inches.

The Pro-100 has a paper length limit of 26.61 inches.  That value is enforced by the driver: no software can change that driver limitation.

Thanks fred - Sorry, but I was tied up most of the day to call. I wrangled with it, even with your 1st suggestions.
I am better at learning with a visual [dyslexia sucks], so thanks!

I still had issues even with this visual. It was this single length setting that did the trick mostly. But when I printed at 1st the orientation was wrong. Theres another setting in the 'printer dialog' that has to be checked. its in the printer properties / page setup / options. Its a check box for orientation[landscape].
This was just a guess, but it fixed the issue.

Another problem the Qimage caused, that I have no clue how to fix. In the images below is the problem. Even though on screen, the image is centered, but the print didnt come out that way.. as you can see. How do I fix this?

It will always print close to the edge of the paper because the poster panels are intended to be cut right at the edge of the prints so there is no border on any sides.  That allows you to butt the adjoining edges together to create the least visible seams.

I guess if you wanted to force it to the middle, you'd have to enter manual page margins via Edit, Preferences, Print and Page Formatting, Page Margins.  For example, you could measure how much white space is at the bottom and just enter half that amount for the top margin.  Use print preview in the driver though and confirm it looks like what you want: so you don't waste paper.
