Hi I wonder if anyone can help me.I have created this layout and saved the job and also saved it as a layout. Now when I recall the job as just settings it does not come back as the layout instead it comes as
a layout of the small pictures round the edge as a layout. So thought if I "run" it as a layout through custom in the print properties it would come up with this layout without the images in, is there a way to get the layout to load without the images so I can just drop new images in to the layout or am i doing it all wrong?Or is it not possible? Any advice is very much apreciated I am a new user to qimage and decided to buy ultimate after using the trial and wonder how I managed without it!!

If when you start your process you click on the "print size" on the right side of the page, it will allow you to call up the "Layout" that you built.
See if that doesn't do what you're looking for.

Hi Phill,
I think you are creating a Layout incorrectly.
When creating a Layout, you do not use real images but the "Template" that is in every image folder that is opened in Qimage - it's at the very end of the thumbnails and is a plain grey square.
Treat this as an image and add as many as you like to the queue at any combination of sizes you require. On the Preview, the Template become a red hatched rectangle. You may also add text in the Full Page Editor.
When you are satisfied with the Layout, save it as a Layout.
It seems that you already know the to use a Layout you must select Print Properties/Custom/Layout. Once the Layout is in place, you can load it with real images.

Hi Terry thanks for that I knew I would be doing something wrong as usual! Gosh its so easy to create great layouts this one one just a experiment for a canvas who's wrap was images around the edge. I mostly do canvas prints and find q very easy. One thing i was asked to day was could I apply different effect to each side i.e mirror on one edge and wrap on the other, as some  images are not suitable for certain wraps I can get round it in photo shop. But to my understanding this is not possible in q.

I'm pleased to hear you have layouts sorted - a very useful tool  Wink
Qimage will do canvas wrap borders either as Mirror or Stretch but not as a mixture of both. You can also apply and outer border and print fold/cut guide lines  Cool
