There are various features to help with alignment etc.

- Direct entry of dimensions from page edge in Page Editor, Size Location tab.
- Arrow moves image on page in small increments
- Shift arrow, moves in larger increments, in metric it's 1mm, not sure what it is in inch units.
- Ctrl arrow move to align with another image or edge of page, nearest first but can continue to next etc.
- The rulers and set "Snap" on the Size Location tab. I'm unsure how the snap thing works  >:(

Hi Terry-

Thanks, I think I knew about all or most of them. I'm looking for a more WYSIWYG, visual approach, with grid lines, the ability to resize using the gridlines, etc.

It may be that the rulers and snap would do what I'm looking for, but I don't know how to use them, either.   ;)

You are getting into a full Desktop Publishing program with all that.
The rulers are easy, there's a red line that marks the location of the edges of an image on the rulers.
I've asked Fred about snap!
