When using a template I find I now can’t load on to the second page of the queue.
I create a Layout and save it. I then make a Template from the Layout and save it as a Job.
I recall the template job and click on the thumbnails’ little crosses to add them to the queue.
I’ve always been able to add more photos and it goes on to the following pages but now I get the error message, List index out of bounds (x), where x is the number of photos on the page.
See attached.
The original Layout works OK, but I’ve found Recall > Job much quicker than F11(etc)>Scroll to Custom>Layout>
I’ve read the previous List index error posting but this seems different.
It’s always worked before but now I get the error message. Any ideas anyone?

John,
Number one, it is a no-no to do RECALL LAYOUT. Qimage even pops a warning message to use RECALL on latouts only to edit them.
You must use custom and Predefined page set.

Next, after adding your 4 images, just continue to add more by clicking the PLUS sign, and Qimage will make page two, and page three,,, etc.
Recall job is ok, but you get your previous pictures back and then have to fiddle.
I don't know what caused the error message. That's Mike's department, but if you can reproduce it, document the steps, and report to Mike.

Fred,
I don't recall a layout. Quote "I recall the template job and click on the thumbnails’ ....
ie I recall a template, that's why I'm puzzled I get an error message

Don't know why the error message or what triggered it.
Try Close Q and reopen. Try a computer reboot.
Wish I could offer more.

Does it make any difference if you drag the additional images to the queue instead of click-adding them?

If I drag them it makes no difference, still doesn't work.
I've found that if I make a template with more than one page I can then add up to that number. eg two pages with three red hatched rectangles on, I click six times with no error message but next click I get the error message. This means I can work around this but it seems strange that Qimage won't load the next template page.

Try using one of Mike's premade templates just in case there's a glitch in the one that you're using that you made.

Thanks Fred,
I couldn't find any of Mike's templates (where are they?) so I went back via the Automated job log and tried some of mine from the dim and distant past. I found a template with four red rectangles that acted as I expected and by altering the sizes made some more templates that work OK. I still can't spot the difference and don't forget that all my more recent ones were working OK a week or so ago. (Been away skiing, see my screen grab)
I wondered if anything was different in QI .123 and installed .121 but that didn't cope either. I only installed it over .123 rather than a big uninstall, so perhaps that wasn't a fair test and I'm back with .123
The only recent templates that still work as expected are ones with only one photo eg.   A4 Glossy, A4 Matte, A4 boarderless etc which have the appropriate profiles for the Job, so something has changed to do with counting the template rectangles.
If I spot any setting I've altered by mistake I'll post the info here.

John,
Go to Custom print properties, and put a dot in Layout, predefined page set. They are all in there.
If you don't see them, then we have to find out whether you might have to click Utilities in Qimage, ans then Migrate Data.

Nothing different in Qimage in that area.
