I use the QU to some time and I have some doubts:

I do not find a form to preview the page to be printed including the crop marks on full screen or still one full screen soft proof of the page including the possibility of two different profiles ICC and not only of each individual image. I want to see exact what I print, exists this?

In a 43,2cm (17”) paper roll, I want to make an impression with 30cmX30cm of paper being been the image of some rectangular formats with internal minimum margins of 1,5cm centered in remain of making impressions with paper 12cmX12cm and images of diverses sizes with minimum internal margins of 1 cm. How I make this?
My tests give me crop marks on image margins and not on square paper defined in template. I already tried mounting layout but it does not do what I want.

I use HP 3100 and 3200, I don’t know if it’s important.
I leave in Brasil, sorry my English, is not my first language.

Thanks

There is no feature to see a page "full screen". You need to use the Page Editor screen, accessed by double clicking just outside the page preview or using the icon, second from the right below the page preview. You can soft proof in this screen too. If you wanted to check a different profile for the whole page then you would have to change the profile on the Job Properties tab on the main screen.
You can set set different printer profiles for individual images in the queue. Select and Right click an image on the Page Preview or in the Page Editor and choose Custom Color Mgmt Settings.
To soft proof a single image full screen, hover mouse over the thumbnail and use Ctrl and Space Bar. Alternate use of the space bar will toggle between soft proof view and normal view.

I think I understand your problem here, if I haven't, please attach a diagram or screen shot to a post.
Yes, crop marks do refer to the image or image plus border and not to the edge of a template.
Do do what you want, make a template that includes a 30cm x 30cm plain white image and add you images to that, on top of the white image.
See attached screen shot which shows the idea with guide lines set which are easier see for the example.
The template would have the square white image with another template on top of it, with a border if required and of the size required. To set up the template on top of the white image, Freehand mode must be used and the page editor used to accurately position the image and template. Save as a Layout and use from Custom sizes.
If I've not understood your requirements or you need clarification, please post again.

Thank you Terry,
Use white square and paste image is a trick to do manually every time, I need a friendly command to automate processes, may be on new version Mike do what I want:

1.   Full screen print preview including crop marks an lines, is good also print soft proof, but only a nice print preview with zoom solve many problems.
2.   Better crop marks including option to crop marks or lines the layout.
3.   Redraw the Full Page Editor, including zoom, guides and rulers. I Use a 30” monitors and now when use 44”paper the full page preview is too small, impossible to nice use.  Fullpage editor also need  to show solid or dashes lines edges. I think is the same of new Full Screen Print Preview but edited.
4.   Redraw filter and image editor eliminating floating window preview and give direct full image preview and editing including zoom in and out.

What other users want in new versions?

Now stay waiting QU new versions, I hope Mike give a QU with less tricks and more friendly commands and direct functionalities.

Thanks

Create and use a template will help considerably.
I cannot comment on some of the other things you mention except:
Mike has to design the screens to suit many monitor sizes, something specifically for large monitors would upset the many users with smaller monitors.

Better crop marks including option to crop marks or lines the layout.
Are you aware of ALL the options, see screen shot attached below; they seem to have been satisfactory for most users, including pro's. for a long time.

also print soft proof,
This exists, either in the page editor or hover mouse over a thumbnail and press CTRL and Space Bar together.

including zoom, guides and rulers
Rulers exist; there are keyboard actions that assist alignment, arrow keys, arrow keys with shift for 1mm moves and with  CTRL to align to other prints or page edge.

Many of us like this arrangement; there are fixed zoom settings by clicking a dot . Did you know that by right clicking on the image, that will re-position the preview?

Just 2 cents more.
You can zoom in the Full Page editor.
That shows the image zoomed.
You can use "TEST STRIP" in the Page Editor screen to isolate on a certain area to see what it will look like in the actual print size you are making.

Dashes and marks show in PRINT PREVIEW of the driver.

Soft Proof already exists, but if you want a larger Softproof, Right click on the Thumbnail, and select Softproof. You will get a full image screem plus the ability on a Right mouse click to pop back and forth between the Soft Proof and the original.
Qimage already redraws the zoomed image in The Page Editor. Move the zoom bar next to the small image, and the large image will redraw.

Terry covered all the rest.
Hope this helps

I think is possible window auto adjusted to monitor size or a user set is better and simple.
I don’t have a fixed layout, every day I need different formats and do a white square and place manually is most complex to print without everything and cut manually, if I have a lines or/and crop marks on layout is very simplest and most precise.

Sorry you don’t understand, I want option to fix crop marks or lines on layouts

To image is nice but is not for all page. I like to see exactly what I print

Hi Fred

I use 2 HP Z3200 24 and one 44 and the driver produced by HP in a stupidity  contest has many bugged and don't show good quality print preview. That’s why I ask about possibility to have on QU

I can repeat, image softproof as good, no problem, don’t change. I need all print preview including lines and/or crop marks, if is possible soft proof inner is nice but not a principal feature.

The zoom bar give me a zoom only on image not all page and the preview on my monitor is not biggest them only one inch. If is possible something like crtl + +  and Crtl + -  on all images will be very nice.

I don’t use RAW and some others features like red eye or image adjusts, all of this I use external photo editor. I only realy need Print preview and an option to lines and crops on layout
I’m a 3 years QI user.  All I say is my experience and my opinion. Are only my suggestions to Mike improve next generation of QU.

Thanks
