maximize window doesn't cover the entire monitor

I've got two monitors attached to my computer running Windows 10.
One monitor is 1920 x 1200 pixels. The other one is 1600 x 1200.
When I put QI on the smaller monitor and hit the maximize icon in the top right corner it fills the entire monitor.
But when I do the same on the bigger monitor it seems to maximize to 1600 pixels instead of 1920.

Hi Arjo,
I think you need to check your Display settings in Control Panel.
To display on 2 separate monitors you need to have "Extended Desktop" set, NOT "Cloned" desktop.
Assuming your graphics card can cope with both resolutions, you can than set each display separately.
I haven't got 2 monitors here so cannot show any screen shots of Display settings. I regularly help set up digital projectors and not using Extended desktop is a common problem.

Yes I have an extended desktop. For most of my software I can use the second one to spread out all the extra palettes. It's a pity Qimage doesn't support a second monitor.

I think there are some of the QU screens that can be dragged across to the second monitor, like the slide show but that is the only one I have used.
One for Mike I think.

When you say you "put" it on the other monitor, can you describe your process step by step? On my two monitor system, it maximizes to the full monitor on both and they are different resolutions like yours. QU has supported two monitors since it's introduction in 2010 and we're not getting any other reports from our other two monitor users so I'm wondering if you are doing something "different" in some way?

Mike

Well I drag the QImage window from the smaller(main with windows button) monitor to the bigger monitor. Then I click on the rectangle icon in the upper right corner of the QImage window. But instead of filling the entire monitor it only fills it full vertical and leaves a part of my desktop visible on the right side. The QImage window still has a 4:3 aspect ratio like my main monitor.
When I don't try to maximize but drag the right side of the QImage window to stretch it manually, it doesn't accept it. At first it's resizing with my mouse, but when I let go the mouse button the QImage window jumps back and starts redrawing all the content inside it's window.
