Title: Media options list Post by: Dromano on March 30, 2021, 01:02:04 PM I've been adding new papers in Epson media installer and seeing them appear in the list of choices in QImage, but I'm wondering if there's a maximum number, and how to remove some from the list. My latest media installer additions do not show up in QImage. I've tried restarting the programs, etc.

Windows allows more than you'd ever be able to add, but the issue might be the driver: there is no way to tell how many a given printer driver will support. When you add a custom media type, the driver is required to register the new media type (and media type index) with Windows. If you are not seeing some media types, it means the driver failed to notify Windows of those types. The only way to edit those would be through the driver so if you want to remove any, that would be done via the Epson driver or Epson media type managing software. Regards, Mike |
