Title: Memory full
Post by: Anthony on July 18, 2023, 11:40:27 AM
We have a Xerox C235 colour laser. We are printing six to a page (high res photos). A single page will print OK. Two or more pages result in "memory full" errors on the printer. The settings are to spool one page at a time (in case that helps). The printer does not allow for more memory. Are there any additional settings within Qimage that might help? If not, is there any software you know that can sit between Qimage and the printer to regulate the amount of data being transmitted such that I can print a 26 page job in one go, rather than one page at a time?

Many thanks

In the spool settings (click the gear button next to the Properties button that opens the driver), choose the spool and cool option.  Set it to 5 seconds.  When you do that, Qimage spools one page, waits for the job to exit the Windows spooler (printer should be done printing) and then it waits 5 seconds and sends the next page.  If you need to adjust it, just increase the time delay.

Regards,
Mike
