If find my images too flat in QU how do I introduce a bit more punch as a default? I have yet to run my first test of QU and I might not need the change. However, my studio PC has no internet link and I cannot ask the question during my test session.
Tony, as a new user of Ultimate with the auto exposure and auto fill working, you realize that it works in excellent fashion for a large majority of images.
That does not preclude anyone from adjusting his images.
In the REFINE screen, you can click any of 9 different grids, each one adjusting the exposure and Fill. Each time you click, you are offered a selection of check squares.
Choose the magenta colored one for max contrast.
That said, you still have the Editor screen with which you are familiar that allows you to create a contrast curve and save it as a filter.
Then set that as a Global filter to be applied to all your images.
You might want to add a little more default sharpening in EDIT RAW OPTIONS.
You can add contrast using the contrast control in the Editor too.
Lots of stuff to play with.
