Hi Guys

Hope someone can help, or come up with a solution.

I use filenames to keep track of print jobs for customers. So using the info option I print the file name under each print.

A lot of jobs I print are wrapped canvas prints, this is where the issue is. Once wrapped the file name disappears under the wrapped corner.

Is there any way to move the location of the filename so it prints bottom middle instead of bottom left. This way it would stay visible once wrapped.

Many thanks all Smiley

Hi,
I think I would use Floating text instead.
Not only can you select the size of the font, and the color, but the selection of information you can use is far greater, and you can drag it to whatever spot is best.

Thanks Fred

I was hoping for an automatic function to be honest. I sometimes send 100 canvases to print at once. Doing this manually for each file would be impossible.

It is automatically applied to all in the queue. See  Screeen Snap
Place it properly on the first image, and then check the box.

Im clearly doing something wrong as when i click link to all others in the queue, then add new prints to the same page it doesn't add the file names.

Seems to work if the prints are all the same size, however if they're different sizes then it just dumps the text in the middle of the image.

Put the images into the queue first

This is true.
Wait for someone on here that works with Canvas edge stretch.
Maybe they can work around the multiple size issue

Yeh its a pain. Im not using the canvas boarder function in qimage as the artwork already has the bleed added for the frames. I just need the filename printed middle instead of left lol. Seems like it would be such an easy task but it isnt :/

Sorry,

that would be perfect, however I'm guessing you used the floating text tool to do it?

Yes
Wait a couple of hours until Mike reads the forum posts and see if he can put the L/R/C location in there somehow.
