Hi - I have the following problems:

1. In every session I can only access the edit screen once. After that, nothing happens when I try to edit a photo.
2. When I save a job, I get a "list index out of bounds" error. Often I also get a session error message, screen shot attached.
3. When I close the program, I get an i/o error 123. I have to force a close.

I have the newest version of QImage Ultimate, downloaded and installed this morning.

I am running Windows 10 Pro, v2004, build 19041.804

I also run the scheduler to print an unclog page to my canon Pro-10. It runs normally.

These problems have persisted for awhile but I haven't been printing much so I haven't looked for a fix. Now, however, I have a project that I am having great difficulty completing.
TIA

What anvivirus software do you use?  Norton has recently decided that they won't allow software to write to the ProgramData folder even though that is a valid folder for programs to use for data.  You may need to add an exception for the folder listed in your screenshot so your AV software will not interfere.

I don't use a 3rd party AV - just the one that comes with Windows.

In that case, the permissions for the Qimage application data folder have become corrupted.  If a reinstall of Qimage doesn't work, you may have to reinstall and pick a different location for the "Qimage application data" folder during the install: pick a location where you know you have read/write access.  Could be something as simple as C:\QimageData.

Mike: I did need to install into a new location. Seems to be working fine now.

When I update, will the program know where to look?

Thanks for your responsiveness.

Yes: the location you chose during install is remembered.  So the next version you install will automatically pick it up: you can just "Next" through the prompts.
