Wow,
I've been playing with my 2011 Ultimate, and anyone who tried it before and who was not pleased with the time it took to get the computer back to being free after it built thumbnails, you ought to try it again.
Now I am boss. If I want to look at or work on an image while thumbs or cache is being built, Qimage Ultimate takes a bow, and waits for me to stop.
Then it continues building.
Big improvement!!

Me too; I copied some archive folders to a PC hard drive so I could see the effect as the raw cache was building.
I'm still using a steam driven P4 PC so I see big benefits in this situation.  Smiley
I get a polite message if I'm too soon in opening the editor which explains that that the first time you do this it takes a little more time because the cache is building.
It's very nice that I can now comfortably check e-mail from the forum while caching is taking place, or open Firefox, or any other program for that matter. Like Fred says, I'm in control again.

Now, does this mean I can put off buying a new PC for even longer   :-\

The new Chrome skin is a good one; I'd used Cyber 2010 before but this one is very clean, easy to read with no distractions when looking at images.

v2011.100 is the initial release of Qimage Ultimate 2011
"Initial release", that implies there'll be more  goodies to come, nice. Cool
Thanks Mike.

Terry,
I thought so too until I went into the REFINE screen using Chrome 2011. That is so clean and much easier to handle. That plus a far better Top Right Window set of minus, full screen, and Close, made me decide on the new Chrome 2011
