When I open Qimage Ultimate, it displays the various folders in the active Drive.  However, clicking on a Folder containing Photo Image Files (such as type JPG, TIF, etc) does not display the individual file names that allows selectig for adding to Queue.  This is a recent condition after starting to use the computer after over a Month of combined Hospitalization and preliminary recovery -- (with computer and now back using the computer being OFF and disconnected from power.

I thought perhaps tere were too many fies in the Thumbs folder but drleting all did not help.  The folder is C:\Documents and settings\all users\ddisoftwre\qimage\thumbs.

Help and suggestions regardigg how to correct will be appreciated.

Posted 07-15-2019 around 6:26 pm CST but date and time shows to be completely different -- so since my computer clock is ok I must need to change time somewhere in this Forum.

Open your profile, and set the current local time for yourself.

As for the first post with the folder/thumbnail view issue, I  have read it many times. Cannot figure out what you are describing.
Please re-explain and simplify for an old geezer.
Fred

Fred, sorry about my lack of properly defining the issue.  I use this Forum so in-frequent that I have forgot how to attach a screen copy-- so I will attempt to illustrate using text.

The Drive is G with the primary folders being displayed - such as:
    Screen Copies
    Color print Strips
    Color Wheel
    Fruit lady
    DVD Covers
    ---- etc ----

The white Template is displayed at the bottom area.

When I click on one of the Folders, such as Color Print Strips which has close to 100 files in that Folder, it does not display the files that would allow selecting one or more to add to the print Queue.

Hope this is helpful for you to be able to help me.

Vernon,

While you are in that folder, click "Utilities" up top and then "Explore Current Folder".  When the Windows Explorer window opens, confirm that you actually have images in that folder and that they have common extensions like *.jpg.  If so, click "View", "Include File Types" and make sure all the file types are checked to display them.

Regards,
Mike

OK Vern,
Now you have Mike on the job.
I'll do some screen snaps to help us get together.
I will assume, (you correct me if I am wrong) that snap 071 represents the drive open and the available folders with images.

Snap 074 is showing a selection of a folder to display in Qimage.

Snap 075 is showing the selected folder in the upper area where current folders names show, plus the close button to click to close that box.
Snap 076 is showing the closed up box which allows room for you to see the displayed thumbnails.
Does this help?
Fred

Mike, I hope I correctly followed the details in your post but I failed to get the normal display that allows selecting a file to add to Quue.

It obviously is something I am not doing correct. --or-- maybe I need to allow more time or getting back to normal from my medical issues.

Thanks for your and Fred's help.

I believe when this overall function was working properly, all I had to do was to click the primary folder name for it to display all files in a folder -- from which one or more could be selected to add to Queue.

I found what I had failed to see in the Edit Preference -- at the bottom I failed to see "Include File Types".  After selecting, there were NO file types selected.  Selected the file types and now all is working correct
Guess my eyes are finally getting as old as my Birth Certificate -- ha,
