It is my hope that the two jpg images of my screen within Qimage and the HP Z3100 setup will clarify my problem. Please note that orientation within the HP setup as well as Qimage is set at Landscape, but, it prints as Portrait.
Please find my error and/or suggest a workaround.
Howard,
I didn't get any specific answers, but I can see by your screen snaps that you have a page size of 24 x 8 with a printable area of 23.606 x 7.606
I cannot figure out that HP Z printer with all the convolutions you applied to the driver.
But I did take an Epson 7900 printer and set it up with the same size page and 4- 6 x 4 prints centered on the page.I assume you want your images to be printed as I show in my screen snap. This took about 30 seconds.
I did nothing in the driver other than to tell it roll paper and 24.02 x 8.0. Then I would tell it what kind of paper I was using and my quality settings and last (in my case) No color Management because I use a color profile to print.
What you see in my screen snap, is what Qimage is sending to the printer. If in the print, or print preview, it is not like that, your driver settings are causing the change.
Perhaps, with a little luck, Ernst will read this and pop in with the solution. He is the HP Z series printer expert.
