Does Qimage have a way to get around drivers' 30K PPI limit on a file?  I was reading that:  "Qimage's proprietary printer driver data streaming not only ensures more reliable printing, but it also allows Qimage to succeed in printing gargantuan prints where other tools fail."  I tried printing a file that was 17x22 using the max reported PPI of 1440.  It changed ink types, spooled, and then it just disappeared.   Works fine reducing the PPI to 720.

(Modified to change typo from dpi to ppi.)

image files don't have dpi (dots (of ink) per inch) they have ppi (pixels per inch). to print to most 1440 dpi printers you're not really going to see any benefit over 360 pixels per inch in the spooled image file (assuming an Epson printer).
One of the regular support crew will probably be around later to give you a more detailed answer (or there's the mythdpi pages at http://www.rideau-info.com/photos/mythdpi.html )

Thanks.  Sorry, I meant "using the max reported PPI of 1440".  Just want to be able to print the file.  The profile was made using the higher PPI value.

The gentleman in the previous post was correct.
But let's get some information so we can help.

What  printer and model?
I see 17 x 22 as the pint size, now all need are your drifver settings.
If you don't know them, we will figure it out together.
I have never seen a reported ppi of higher than 1200 and that was an expensive HP printer.
But let's see what you have.

What  printer and model?

Here's the info:
Printer and Model:  Epson 3880
Driver:  PrintFab
Quality:  6-2880dpi
Mode:  Photo Black
Color Mode:  Color RGB
Intent:  Perception
Color Space:  Pro Photo RGB
Print Direction:  Unidirectional
Color Precision:  16 bit per channel

I'm thinking it is a limitation of the Epson and PrintFab drivers.

I have no knowledge of what it will or will not do, so you should contact the Printfab people.
On the other hand, an Epson 3880 does 17 x 22 prints without any special; help from  Qimage or anything else. It's a normal paper/print size for a 3880.
Try going back to, the normal 3880 print driver and see if it works for you.
