Title: Practical way to manage unclog job scheduling? Post by: clinchfield on August 21, 2018, 03:47:02 AM I use Qimage Ultimate with my Canon PRO 1000. I have the unclog job scheduled for every 48 hours to avoid the 60-hour cleaning cycle. I turn the scheduler off when I'm going to be printing.
Given that I may use the printer daily for several days then not use it for several days, what is a practical habit to get into regarding turning the scheduler on and off without having to go into the Print Unclog Job Schedule dialog and change the date/time? (If that question is not clear, here is an example:) Let's say I used the printer yesterday and I might use it today. Then I find I am not going to use it today after all. So I turn the scheduler on, but the unclog job isn't scheduled to run until after a 60-hour lapse in actual printing. Then it appears I have to adjust the Date/time of first unclog cycle to make sure an unclog job runs before the 60 hours is up. |
