Title: Print directly from other programs?
Post by: PaulTopol on February 21, 2014, 09:34:56 PM
Hi Guys,

Is it possible to set up QI as a printer?
i.e. in explorer, or any other browser, select some photos, right click to print them and amongst the printers available is QI.
Just like you can print to Adobe PDF.

Perhaps instead of a print driver one can right-click and use the send-to option?

Have a great weekend.

Paul

No, I don't know to set up Qimage as a printer.

But there are other options:

- the "send to" functionality in the file explorer in windows.
you can send one or more files to qimage. qimage opens an you can adjust the settings.

- the drag-and-drop function
You can just drag-and-drop the photos you want to print from the file explorer to the image icon.

I use for instance for more the 10 year Qimage together with IMatch (a DAM-tool). No problem to print photos with Qimage.
