I've created a few 'Print Filters'. They work just dandy and save a lot of frustrations with matching prints with what I see monitor v prints. Thanks for the feature.

Question - is there a way of saving a print/image with the 'Print filter' imbedded? ie something like an xmp file?
eg I apply a 'Print Filter' and print. Great. But next week I want to repeat the print but can't remember what 'Print Filter' I applied. I would like to call up the image and reprint it knowing the same filter is applied.

thanks

There are several ways to do this so I'm not sure which to advise for you.  First, yes, you can apply the print filter to images (and then disable the print filter since you don't want to double filter).  Just double click to open the image and use "File", "Load filter parameters..." and pick the same filter.  Then it's "stuck" to the image itself.

But you referenced reprints which is something Qimage is great at doing.  If you want to reprint, you can click "Open Automated Job Log" (button at the top of the main UI) and reopen the job that you printed.  The print filter is saved as part of the job so whatever you used will be recalled as part of the job along with all the images you had in that job.  Or, if you'd like to do that manually you could also click the Save button on the top left of the main UI and save and name a job: that way the print filter is saved with the job in the same way it is with the automated job log.

Regards,
Mike

Thanks. Works a treat. Or, if you'd like to do that manually you could also click the Save button on the top left of the main UI and save and name a job: that way the print filter is saved with the job in the same way it is with the automated job log. Works best for me. I'm a 'control freak'.
