Print Location/Placement issue

Recently replaced my Epson 4800 with a 4880 which is now custom profiled and printing previous jobs' colour nicely with Qimage Ultimate (v2024.102)(Windows 10 Pro Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-10700 CPU @ 2.90GHz, 2904 Mhz, 8 Core(s), 16 Logical Processor(s) 64 GB RAM) ... except I'm having trouble with the Print Location/Placement. Print size is correct; the bottom margin area should be one inch, but when printed, is about 7/8". Issue happening with various images/print jobs saved from when I used the retired 4800.
I'm not using Borderless printing; driver does not have "Reduce/Enlarge" selected in the Page Layout of the Printer's Properties. "Optimize Enlargement" is selected, though.
Selecting "Freehand" or "Manual" in Edit Page > Print Placement does not seem to make any difference. I don't think I have locked any Startup settings; can't see the old cog icon.
My goal is to have the images print centred, but bumped up on the page to leave space for hand written titles and signatures underneath. Perhaps it's an issue with the E4880, but if I'm missing something obvious, please let me know.

In cases like this, you have to do two things. First, measure the length of the paper with an accurate ruler and make sure it is
actually
11 inches long! If not, that's why your print isn't exactly 1 inch from the bottom. Second, measure the top margin too: your bottom margin is 1/8 inch shorter so is your top margin 1/8 inch larger than it should be? If so, your printer is simply not loading and feeding the paper accurately enough and it has 1/8 inch of "slop".

Mike

Thanks, Mike. I'm using Epson Enhanced Matte paper from a carton and it is definitely 8 1/2" × 11".
As in my screen shot, I set the top margin to be thinner (.78") than the bottom one (1.0") in order to allow for the print signing.
I think I am dealing with a printer slop issue (some of the Epson printer's dark grey foam rubber has broken down which may affect the paper feed) and will have to tweak each job accordingly.
