Title: Print unclog every day, but alternate jobs Post by: jrsforums on September 02, 2024, 03:07:29 PM I have a Canon Pro-1000. I would like to print a 1/2 page unclog everyday, since I understand this will avoid Canon’s wasteful nozzle cleaning. Since I really need two jobs, one glossy for gloss black and one plain for matte black, I would like to have the gloss print one day and the matte the next, etc, etc. how can I set this up?
Title: Re: Print unclog every day, but alternate jobs Post by: admin on September 02, 2024, 07:36:39 PM Think of it like a bus schedule. Up top in the global settings (date and repeat) you are specifying how often the bus stops at the bus stop. Down below in the per-job cycle tuning, you click on each job and specify the first time each job takes the bus and how often. So set it like this...
Print all listed jobs (below) at the above date/time and then repeat every (The "bus schedule: how often the bus stops at the bus stop): 1 day, 0 hours. Then on your two jobs, set the per-job cycle tuning as follows by clicking on the job and then setting. Per-job cycle tuning (When each job gets on the bus and how often): Job 1: Print on: 1st cycle Then: Every 2 days Job 2: Print on: 2nd cycle Then: Every 2 days That way the bus stops at the bus stop every day (it has to in order to meet your requirements) and both jobs get on every 2 days, but job 1 starts on the 1st cycle so 1, 3, 5, 7... and job 2 waits until the second cycle to start so 2, 4, 6, 8.... I kinda guessed that would be how it would work, but figured I’d check. I did check out the video, but, apparently, it was made before you added cycle #1, cycle#2, etc
