Title: Printer settings on a Networked PC
Post by: daniellouwrens on April 07, 2015, 08:25:43 PM
Hi

I usually have Qimage U print directly to a printer attached to my PC,
that printer is no longer attached and I have to use a networked printer attached to a different PC.

On the other PC the main printer use is for documents so the driver settings are set to black only.

If I open the printer setup dialogue in Qimage U and set it to Colour , high quality, attach profile etc, will that
change the driver settings on the other PC?

Thanks

Daniel

Daniel, you will be fine. The default printer settings are stored in the "Printer and Devices" right click properties menu of the printer.
Qimage will remember Qimage's settings, but other programs should remember what is set in that Properties menu.
