Am just finishing with the Qimage Ultimate demo and I am wondering what the benefit of the plug-in would be over stand alone. Running Photoshop CS4, NIK software, and Win 7.

Hi John,
The basic premise is a proven fact that Qimage prints better than any other....
It has evolved over the past 20 years into a full blown editor program which includes features like DFS sharpening that far outshines USM because there are no halos.
Pure color management. That means color accuracy.  It does borders and mats so you  can set border widths differently.
Many thousands of photographers have experimented  and have gone to make Qimage their "go-to" software.

There are many CS Photo shop and Lightroom folks that like to use those applications as they are comfortable from years of use.
Yet they know that their final print will have more detail and correct color if they print with Qimage. They can also set up a multi print page in a few seconds.
These folks want to make all their adjustments using PS or Lightroom, and send that image directly to Qimage for printing.
Hence the Plug In feature.

Just skimming the surface.... of features.
Bear in mind, there are thousands upon thousands of users, and just as many different priorities of special needs for their work flows.
Qimage has continued to address these needs.
Hope you enjoy the demo, and please feel free to ask for "How To s" and easy way to..... etc.
Nice folks on here. Always willing to help
Fred

Note that the plugins won't work with PS CS4.  They require CS5 or later versions of PS.

Mike

Thanks, Mike and Fred. Appreciate the input. Looks like stand alone for me.
