I have an Epson L8050 printer and when I start printing photos the job in the print queue stops and gives a error printing. It's started doing this quite often lately and I don't know what's causing it (bad drivers or something else).
I saw the following errors in the event viewer:

Errors where the Windows print server fails to "feed" the printer generally come in just a few categories.

(1) Driver issue: try reinstalling the printer driver.  In Qimage, also reset printer settings by holding the Shift key while clicking the Properties button on the Printers and Settings tab: set the driver settings manually from there.

(2) Connection problem: I don't recommend WiFi connections so if you are hooked up wirelessly, try a cable.  If you are already on a cable, try a different cable.

(3) Windows update: Make sure you are up to date on Windows updates since sometimes an update can cause a problem and when that happens, MS usually fixes those pretty quickly.

(4) Hardware problem: Sometimes printers can have an internal issue like a broken main board or other problem in the electronics.  I put this one last because it's difficult to test for.

More experimentation may be needed: for example try other software to see if the problem is only with Qimage or maybe you can't print from anything?

Regards,
Mike

(1) I haven't tested with reinstalling drivers (but I will)
(2) I always use a cable for connection (it is new, but if necessary I will change it to try again)
(3) I'm using the latest Windows updates
(4) My printer is new (no more than 2 months old with less than 2000 copies)

Thanks again, I'll try your suggestions...

It's my fault, I've been printing on the wireless network of the printer instead of USB Wink
