Creating a template to print 7 x 10 cards on 8.5” x 11” paper.  Using Canon 1000Pro, which has trailing edge unprintable area wider than leading edge.

Using ‘Template/Centered’, it gets close to center, but is about 1/16 off (Qimage screen shows center at 5 7/16).  Printed page shows same measurement.

What am I missing?

Try IntelliCenter instead of Template-Centered.  All "Intelli" methods center on the physical page while the other options center within the printable area.

Mike,

‘Template/centered’ butts the 5x7 together at center of page.  ‘Intellicenter’ Center’s it on the page, but puts a “gutter” between the images.  The point of what I am doing is to fold into a card and have the one face be a borderless picture.

Is there an adjustment I am missing?

Whenever I have done anything like this - which I admit has been seldom - I found it best to use freehand placement.  Use the page editor to micro-position each photo - then - just as a double check - run a print preview.

Yeah, I misunderstood that you wanted a 7x10 on an 8.5x11 page.  If you are arranging two prints on two halves of the page, I would just create a layout in freehand mode.  Add two templates of the size you want and place them manually/precisely in the full page editor by using the location tab and entering the precise locations.  Then save the layout and you can use it any time.

Regards,
Mike
