Mntr Profile Setting

Under Printers and settings tab/job properties/Display/Mntr Profile does it matter what the setting is when using Windows 10? I am using dual monitors that both have been profiled using xrite i1 Studio. I notice that the profile shown does not change if I drag the program screen to the other monitor. (IE the program opens on the LG screen and I drag it to the larger AOC screen.) I can change the selection to the profile for that monitor but it doesn't seem to matter. My question what is the best setting? Should I just select "off" for the Mntr Profile.
Thanks, Jason

I would suggest picking the monitor you intend to do full screen viewing/editing on, and set that as the monitor profile. The monitor profile is really only important for when you make adjustments. Just don't turn the monitor profile "off" because then you won't get results reasonable for a monitor if you work on raw photos, photos saved in color spaces like Adobe RGB or ProPhoto, etc.

Mike
