Help needed,
I've reinstalled Qimage on my new hard drive. I can't find how to point it to my Qimage folder on my USB drive. I've done it before but can't remember / find out how it's done.

Perhaps, you mean this routine?

Thanks Fred,
I saw that but it says Please confirm that you want to copy Qimage application data
From: C:ProgramData\ddisoftware\Qimage\
To:    E:\Qimage\

I want to get my info from my E drive to Qimage.

You mean on a permanent basis, or you want to copy the E drive stored Qimage data to teh C drive?

Yes I wanted to make the E drive folder the permanent one to use.
No problem Fred, I "copied" the new C drive folder ( very little in it) to the E ( with all my presets, jobs etc) and selected to use that.
I now remember it seeming strange but anyway it's all OK
Thanks, John

The other way is to re-install Qimage, clicking slowly and adjusting the location of the INSTALL, and after that, you again are asked to set the location of the DATA files (Qimage\cache etc.

Your way will not tell Q to use the E drive data.
Reinstall and set it the way you want it... where to look for the saved presets etc.

I re-installed Qimage and it had my E drive folder as location of the DATA files.
The reinstall is a much better way though. Where I went wrong was not watching out for the DATA window, just kept clicking as usual!
