I'm trying to print an image on a Moab paper, which is 300gsm. \I keep getting an error message {I guess its from Canon?},that I must re-size my image ,to a certain setting they are recommending? I'm using 8 x 11in paper, have it size, so I have a 1/4in border, on all 4 sides of the paper Because of this error message ,I am unable to complete the printing. Any Ideas?? Thanks Mike

Moab paper, which is 300gsm. Mike, I looked up Moab 300 gsm. It is a matte paper. OK The Canon printers, (no reason given) have a peculiar reaction to certain matte papers, even their own brand. I think I might have a handle on this. See screen snaps. I chose Fine Art paper 1 to simulate the MOAB. I got this error. Is that what you get? It is forcing a 30mm border on you. I beat that restriction by selecting the Matte N. See screen snaps attached. Is that what you are dealing with?? Fred

I haven't counted the number of yellow flashes ,but I have a feeling your right I will begin to use a thinner paper, and pay more attention if the paper is going in straight. Also, when I load the paper in the middle loader. I get an error message ,that I have to change the size of the print, when I do this, I get the 1006 error message Also, when I attempt to contact tech support, they tell me, because I am using Qimage, and a third party paper, they cannot help me,or,it is not recommended I should use 3rd. party papers
Right now,I managed to do 1 print, which came out extremely dark, yesterday I printed out the same image,& it came out perfect A few of my inks are at 50%,the rest at 75%.
Again, thank you for your patience, and support, Mike

Mike, You spread the paper size feelers wide. Drop in the paper, and then slide the feelers inboard until they touch the sides of the paper. Then you MUST close that cover or you will get an error. You also must have the front door open or you will get an error. You are not using the feed door behind the printer, I hope.

yes, thats what I'm doing .....now. I was under the assumption, my heavier papers, should be loaded from the rear feeder, but I guess I was wrong. I am loading now, from the regular feeded, even my heavy papers,310 &,315 wgt,I load from the middle loader All seems well now,no error messages,& my heart-burn has seized.
Thank you ,Sir.
