Title: Qimage Software not recognizing Epson R2400? Post by: mike.danahy789@gmail.com on August 01, 2021, 10:03:37 PM Apologies up front here. Been using Qimage for a long time through several upgrades. Just bought Ultimate for my new computer. Looks like it is going to be great.
I can't seem to find out how to get Qimage to recognize and load the profiles and controls for my good old Epson R2400 which has served me well. Could someone point me to a post on how to manage this. (I'm sure I'll be embarrassed when someone points out. Mike Danahy Title: Re: Qimage Software not recognizing Epson R2400? Post by: admin on August 01, 2021, 10:54:55 PM If I take your question literally, "profiles and controls" would mean printer (ICC) profiles and driver controls. So my answer would be drop down "Printer profile" on the Printers and Settings tab and select the profile you want (profiles should be installed with the driver). And to get to the printer driver properties (controls), click the "Properties" button on the same tab to open the driver.
If that doesn't answer your question, please be more specific about exactly what you are looking for. Regards, Mike Title: Re: Qimage Software not recognizing Epson R2400? I down loaded a new printer driver and am now able able to choose paper size and type. New problem seems to be that my prints are very dark. Any Advise? (http://) (http://)

Printer Profile in your settings says "Stylus Photo R2400". What is that? There is no indication of what media type, settings, etc. There is no such thing as a generic "R2400" profile: there would be one for each paper type at a minimum. If you don't have a Premium Glossy profile, you'd be better off setting Printer Profile to "Let printer/driver manage color".
