Hi Thomas,

I think you need the studio version - and live with the fact that much of it you will not use. http://www.ddisoftware.com/qimage/editions.htm lists a few print specific extras not in the pro version.

Best wishes,

Ray

By not getting Q Ultimate a user will miss out on future enhancements to the printing features.  Embarrassed

Hi Mike,

I see you've answered my previous question in Peter's thread - a good answer, too Smiley.

Could I suggest you take your answer to that, and to the question re uninstalling studio, and other questions raised all over the place, plus your mini-faq, and start a locked thread, or similar, where the answers to all the various questions can be found, an obvious single reference point without it being 'watered down' by other questions from us lot.

Best wishes,

Ray

Terry got exactly the point. I (= Qimage Studio user) would like to update/upgrade to Qimage Ultimate for the printing workflow. My complete raw & archive workflow is locked in Lightroom (which works great).

Some questions for Mike about the raw cache.

If I delete an image from QU does the cached raw go too?
If I delete an image via Windows Explorer, what happen to the cache then, am I right in thinking the cached raw is kept.
Will there be a utility to delete orphaned cached raw's or does that happen when you delete orphaned thumbs.

Thanks,
Terry
